Neighborhood

Location is everything here. You are staying in the most walkable corner of downtown Hot Springs — right where the Central Avenue commercial district meets the Quapaw and Prospect Historical Districts, where Colonial Revival and Craftsman architecture line the streets. You are one block from Bathhouse Row and the entrance to Hot Springs National Park — the oldest federally protected land in the country, built around the forty-seven thermal springs that have drawn visitors for over two hundred years. Walk down the Grand Promenade to see the springs themselves, soak publicly at the Quapaw Bathhouse, step into the Buckstaff for the traditional bathhouse experience, or cross the street to the Superior Bathhouse Brewery, the only brewery in the country operating inside a national park, pouring beer and root beer brewed with thermal water. The neighborhood’s story runs wider than the baths. One mile east, on Malvern Avenue, the Woodmen of the Union Building and the Pythian Bathhouse once anchored what was called “Black Broadway” — the corridor that made Hot Springs one of the Chitlin’ Circuit’s most important southern stops during segregation. Because the thermal waters were federally regulated, this was one of the few American resort towns where Black entertainers could perform, stay, and access the baths. That history is the soul of our five jazz suites. Downtown is yours on foot: galleries, restaurants, the Gangster Museum of America, live music, art walks, and the trailheads up Hot Springs Mountain and West Mountain — These are all a short walk from your front door.

Guest Access

You have full private access to your suite and your balcony. There is also a shared grill and outdoor dining space behind the building and some shared laundry machines in the basement. You are welcome to use these as you wish.
